Happy Birthday Mommy and Daddy!

So I am now offically 36! Ughhhh! This means I am no longer in my mid thirties. I have moved on to my LATE thirties. Though this scares and mortifies me, I feel younger and better than I ever have. There must be some great, cosmic irony in this. Juan will turn 34 on July 20th. So he is NOT in his late thirties yet! :)
We had a blast with our friends from Denver last Friday. We went to downtown Denver to celebrate our combined birthdays. It is crazy how many people are on the streets at 2 am! Denver is basically an all night, full on party! We are so grateful for the many wonderful people we have in our lives. They are so generous and loving. And a little bit off their rockers...... just like us!

Mom, lookin' like an Atencio

Well, as you can see, Gabe got his first haircut. It was less traumatizing then we thought it would be. He cried but not toooo much. Then Mom decided it was time to go back to her roots....literally. So my Stylist says this is my REAL hair color. Who knew? And I decided since I was going for a change I might as well go whole hog, so to speak. So I got a new do too!

Gabe looks like a new man.....no more severe bed head. No more "look at that cute little girl!" It was a bit sad to see it go but he looks like a little boy now. HE was more shocked with my hair than anything else.
